BrindleKey / help
How BrindleKey keeps property details and landlord records together, and what its checklists do and do not tell you.
For each property, you can save a name, address line 1, town or city, and postcode. You can edit those details later from that property’s page.
Archiving marks the property with an archive date and labels it Archived in your register. The property stays in the register. Archiving does not delete the property or its saved records, including compliance documents, checklist progress and history, or registration log entries.
You can attach a gas safety, EICR, EPC, or deposit document to a property and keep its document type and expiry date with the file. The saved-documents list shows the file name and recorded details, and lets you open or download the file. BrindleKey organizes these records and entered dates; saving a file or date does not confirm legal compliance.
After signup, the guide opens when you arrive at the dashboard through the welcome flow, unless you have already dismissed it. It shows how to add a property, find its readiness checklist, add document records and expiry dates, and find the registration change log. You can skip the guide and reopen it from the dashboard later.
